Wild Montana’s Eastern Wildlands Chapter and the Absaroka-Beartooth Wilderness Foundation presents “The Wilderness Act at 60” with Traute Parrie.
Co-editor of “Voices of Yellowstone’s Capstone: A Narrative Atlas of the Absaroka-Beartooth Wilderness,” and retired ranger for the U.S. Forest Service Beartooth District, she will weave stories of her own life spent in Wilderness with thoughts on the evolution of the role of Wilderness in society from 1964 through the forthcoming decades. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Free admission.
