No matter how much grandiose spin acting BLM director  Pendley has put on these plans, they are as much an affront to Montana’s outdoor values as Pendley’s views on public lands.

The Blackfoot Clearwater Stewardship Act would add almost 80,000 acres to the Bob Marshall, Scapegoat, and Mission Mountains Wilderness Areas and permanently protect the four most important tributaries of the Blackfoot.

The Forest Service has released the draft final plan for the Custer Gallatin National Forest, and we have one last chance to provide input before the forest planning process ends.

On an already historic day, the news got even better when the House passed the Great American Outdoors Act and secured full funding for LWCF.

On July 22, Sen. Jon Tester announced that he will introduce the Badger-Two Medicine Protection Act. The bill will secure the wild future of the Badger-Two Medicine and ensure that the Blackfeet Tribe will have a meaningful voice in its management.

It's hard to imagine anyone more ill-suited, more dangerous, and less qualified to lead the BLM than William Perry Pendley.
