Watch: Steve Daines Shares his Thoughts on WSAs
The Senator stopped in Helena to talk about removing protections from Wilderness Study Areas
The future of Montana's wilderness study areas (WSAs) is a contentious topic, no doubt about it. Everybody won't agree on everything, but we think that the least we can ask for is that Montanans have a say in determing the the fate of these spectacular wild places.
In the face of all this back-and-forth, we wanted to give Senator Daines an opportunity to speak for himself on the matter, discuss the importance of collaboration and dialogue, and express his opinion about the made-in-Montana Blackfoot Clearwater Stewardship Act.
This is what he had to say.
If you'd like some more information about some of the things the Senator talked about, you can explore the links below. We'll be continuing the fight to protect Montana's wilderness study areas, and your support is hugely important along the way.
