After meticulously scouring every detail of 1,000 photos and videos, we’re proud to announce the winners of the 2017 Picture Wild Montana photo and video contest.
At least 250 people flooded the county commission meeting. Roughly three-quarters of those who attended opposed Sen. Daines' WSA bill. 52 testified against the bill, 20 in favor. Moreover, 78 people sent the commission emails opposing the bill and another 45 signed a letter in opposition.
Calling all college students! MWA’s Flathead-Kootenai Chapter is looking for our very own Edward Abbey, Aldo Leopold, or John Muir to write about what our state’s public lands mean to them, and what they’re doing to protect and preserve Montana’s wild heritage.
What excited our search committee the most about Ben were the leadership skills he demonstrated in his three-year tenure at FOMDP and the inspiring vision he articulated for MWA, which entails building on the tremendous success we’ve had over recent years.
