In celebration of Public Lands Day, we want to thank all the amazing volunteers who continually blow us away with their dedication and hard work (photo by Matt Bowser)

In celebration of National Public Lands Day, we’re shining a light on the Continental Divide National Scenic Trail (CDT).

The Terry Badlands span 44,000 acres just a few miles northwest of Terry in eastern Montana. The Bureau of Land Management has managed the land as a wilderness study area since the 1970s, which has helped the wild character of the land remain.

I'm proud to be a monthly donor to MWA. Will you join me? (Photo courtesy Vlad Kustanovich)

I'd rather be outside with my family than sitting in front of the computer, and giving to MWA ensures that my voice will be heard even while I'm enjoying our wild places.

We can still stand up for our public lands, even if we're staying at home.
