Humbug Spires Wilderness Study Area is a scenic wonder, with tall granite outcroppings bursting through an old-growth conifer forest in a truly wild landscape. Its relatively low elevation makes it an ideal spot for an early-season hike and spring wildflower sightings. We'll hike an established trail until we reach our destination – the Wedge, one of the area's most prominent spires.
