Wild Divide Chapter Newsletter

Greetings to you all!

And thank you for your support this past year.

Much has been accomplished, thanks in part to three new Wild Divide Chapter Board members, who are young, creative, and Wild Montana mission-driven women. The board demographics have been dramatically changed for the better. Coupled with the experience of other members, it is an effective team. Interested chapter members are welcome to join us.

It has been a good year thanks to the work of an enthusiastic board.

  • Wild Montana rebranded with a new mission and vision.
  • We gained 55 new Wild Divide Chapter members.
  • Our chapter saw an increase in membership renewals.
  • We shared creative ideas with other Wild Montana chapters
  • Our CHOPS (Chapter Operations Planning) helped us set measurable goals for 2022
  • We prioritized community events, such as tabling at Revive at Five and our business gathering in September
  • We led successful Wilderness Walks
  • Our Wild Divide Chapter map, with the aid of Wild Montana staff, is near completion after nearly four years.
  • We started producing regular chapter newsletters.
  • In coordination with Wild Montana staff, we kicked off strategic planning for the next four years 2025 -2029.

As we begin a new year, there is a lot of work before us and exciting opportunities to support the new mission and DEIJ (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Justice) goals. It will be challenging, but it will be fun. Join us!

Keep ‘er Wild,

Ray Brown
Wild Divide Chapter President
