Join wildlife biologist Scott Eggeman on a family-friendly walk by the Clearwater River.  Scott will use the easy stroll to provide information about the riparian wildlife along the Clearwater, and everyone will enjoy spotting signs and looking for various creatures.

Come hike what might be the quickest route to the crest of the Swan Range. The Rice Ridge fire burned portions of this area in 2017. From the top we will have the perfect view of lands involved in the Blackfoot Clearwater Stewardship Act.

From Hoodoo Pass, we will hike east on the Stateline Trail into the Great Burn Recommended Wilderness. This trail travels through high meadows full of amazing wildflowers and offers outstanding views into both the Idaho and Montana portions of the Great Burn.

This hike will show you critical elk winter range in the Rattlesnake National Recreation Area and adjoining private lands managed for wildlife. We will be clipping and bagging houndstongue to help control this noxious weed.

Enjoy the many views served up on this hike high on the edge of the Great Burn Recommended Wilderness. We will climb gently to reach the summit of Schley Mountain, then continue down the ridge, snacking on the last of the season's huckleberries.
